Privacy
What this site collects: very little.
No accounts, no forms, no ad trackers and no payments. Here is everything that does happen when you visit. Last updated October 30, 2026.
Donations
This site never handles money.
Every Give button opens the Moms Against Poverty campaign page (opens in a new tab). Your gift, card details, name, email and receipt are handled there by Moms Against Poverty (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 20-8865521) and its payment providers, under their privacy policy. This site never sees or stores any of it.
The children’s arts fundraisers page only links out. Each listing opens that organizer’s own campaign page (for example on GlobalGiving or Givebutter), and any gift made there is handled by that organizer and platform under their own privacy policies.
Analytics
Cookieless visit counts.
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics (opens in a new tab) to count visits. It does not use cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint visitors. It records page views with details such as the page address, referrer, browser type and country, in aggregate.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser details) to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare may add small scripts for security and performance. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab).
On your device
One setting, kept on your device.
If you choose light or dark mode, the choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under am-theme. It never leaves your device. Clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Other services
Third-party content, only when you ask.
- Bandcamp. The music player loads from Bandcamp only when you press play. Bandcamp may then set cookies under its own privacy policy.
- Links out. Links to YouTube, publishers, universities, funders and the campaign page take you to those sites, which have their own policies. Videos on this site load from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you press play; otherwise they are plain links.
- Live data. The Funding Desk pages load public listings from this site’s own data service (annmasten-desk.chrismai.workers.dev). The Books and UK pages load review and feed data from this site’s own servers. These requests carry no cookies or identifiers.
